Broadridge launches digital asset platform for Canadian wealth managers

Broadridge Financial Solutions has launched a digital asset platform for Canadian wealth managers, enabling them to offer cryptocurrencies and tokenized assets alongside conventional investments within a single operating environment.

The platform covers trading, custody, asset servicing, communications and proxy voting for digital assets, integrating them into the same workflows wealth managers already use for traditional securities. It supports both advisor-driven and self-directed models.

Galaxy provides wallet capabilities, while Anchorage and Tetra supply institutional custody, with interoperability to additional custodians. The platform supports omnibus and segregated wallet structures.

The platform also includes trading capabilities, though Broadridge did not elaborate further. In March, the firm announced Crypto.com as the first cryptocurrency integration on its NYFIX order routing network, enabling crypto orders to flow through the same FIX-based infrastructure used for traditional securities. NYFIX connects over 2,200 buy and sell side participants globally. The Canada platform’s exchange connectivity likely builds on this infrastructure.
