Citi Ventures invests in stablecoin platform BVNK

Citi Ventures has made a strategic investment in BVNK, a stablecoin infrastructure platform that has experienced rapid growth over the past year. The UK headquartered company’s annualized payment volumes have doubled from $10 billion in December 2024 to $20 billion currently. Given the figure was $12 billion in May 2025, this indicates a growth acceleration over the summer.

BVNK provides infrastructure and wallet solutions enabling businesses to use stablecoins for cross border payments and financial products. The platform serves payment service providers and enterprises including Worldpay, Flywire and dLocal.

“Stablecoins are seeing increased interest in use for settlement of on-chain and crypto asset transactions,” said Arvind Purushotham, Head of Citi Ventures. “We were impressed by BVNK’s enterprise-grade infrastructure, and their proven track record.”
