Hamilton Lane’s GPA fund gets a third tokenization outing via Allfunds and Apex

Hamilton Lane, Allfunds Blockchain and Apex Group have launched a tokenized share class for Hamilton Lane’s Global Private Assets (GPA) evergreen fund for private equity exposure. BBVA Asset Management is the first investor and has secured an exclusive distribution period for institutional portfolios.

The share class will be available through Allfunds’ permissioned blockchain platform across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America. Apex Group serves as transfer agent, handling digital subscriptions, administration and servicing.

Juan Delgado, Co-CEO at Hamilton Lane, said the tokenized share class seeks to “bring the diversification benefits of private markets to new and existing audiences in a cheaper, better and faster way.”

BBVA Asset Management manages nearly €200 billion in assets. Hamilton Lane has over $1 trillion in assets under management and supervision.
