Liechtenstein launches sovereign blockchain infrastructure

liechtenstein

Liechtenstein has introduced a sovereign blockchain infrastructure aimed at providing secure and compliant digital trust services for enterprises and institutions. The Liechtenstein Trust Integrity Network (LTIN) represents a public private partnership between the state owned telecommunications provider and digital asset firms.

LTIN operates under Liechtenstein’s Blockchain Act and aligns with EU MiCA crypto regulations. The network is majority owned by Telecom Liechtenstein, a fully state owned entity, positioning the infrastructure as an extension of national telecommunications services into blockchain technology.

The initiative brings together financial institutions and blockchain technology providers. Bank Frick, Bitcoin Suisse, Solstice Labs and Zilliqa serve as launch partners, while INACTA, LUKSO, QPQ, and Swiss Subnet participate as early contributors to the network.
