Payward partners Singapore Gulf Bank for digital asset settlement

Payward, the parent company of crypto exchange Kraken, has integrated SGB Net, the real-time clearing network run by Bahrain-based Singapore Gulf Bank (SGB), enabling institutional clients to settle transactions around the clock.

The integration initially supports US dollar settlement for a select group of clients, with additional currencies planned. SGB is also onboarding Kraken Prime, Payward’s prime brokerage arm, as a liquidity source for its own digital asset offerings.

SGB Net launched in 2025 and now processes more than $20 billion in monthly fiat transactions.
