Singapore based Aqilliz has conducted a blockchain loyalty pilot with telecoms firm MyRepublic. Aquilliz is a sister company to blockchain software firm Zilliqa and has previously run several digital ad pilots.
Blockchain combined with loyalty and rewards, is proving a popular application. Several airlines have adopted blockchain as has Amex. But one of the biggest movers is BAKKT, which was founded by the New York Stock Exchange owner. It recently acquired Bridge2 solutions, which provides loyalty and employee incentive schemes to many financial institutions.
