Libeara, the tokenization platform incubated by Standard Chartered’s SC Ventures, has closed a $14 million strategic funding round led by global market maker GSR. The round also includes Openspace Capital, Kyobo Life Insurance Group, AlloyX, Kaia Investment Partners, Simsan Ventures and Monk’s Hill Ventures.

In March 2025, it was designated as a trust business by Korea’s Financial Services Commission for security token issuance to finance aircraft engines. The group also has tokenization collaborations with Japan’s SBI and SBI Digital Markets.
