TrueProfile.io partners with uPort for interoperable digital identities - Ledger Insights

Yesterday document verification firm TrueProfile.io announced its collaboration with blockchain digital identity platform uPort. The partnership means that uPort’s wallet can store credentials and verified documents of TrueProfile.io members. TrueProfile.io, part of the DataFlow Group, provides a blockchain-based digital portfolio for job applicants. The technology allows user’s documents to be stored in a safe and portable platform. Meanwhile, hiring companies can easily verify the applicant’s data. The firm’s focus on self-sovereign identity matches the ethos of uPort. uPort is an Ethereum based digital identity service, which allows users to manage their identities, keys, and data on an app. The company also offers tools to share and request credentials and sign transactions with their blockchain verifiable identity.
