Today Oracle announced plans for its Digital Assets Data Nexus platform which will launch in 2026, targeting financial institution clients. The solution will expand the existing capabilities offered by the Oracle Blockchain, which is based on Hyperledger Fabric.
It will add support for Hyperledger Besu, the Ethereum client that can be used for permissioned blockchains or on the public blockchain mainnet. Oracle also intends to provide ready-made tokenization smart contracts, enterprise grade security and automation. Oracle will also leverage AI for automated compliance.
“Oracle Digital Assets Data Nexus will streamline financial entities’ adoption of digital assets by addressing key challenges around scalability, resiliency, security, integration, and regulatory compliance,” said Wei Hu, Oracle SVP, high availability technologies. “Oracle is building the platform to enable customers to deliver digital asset solutions faster and more cost-effectively, while addressing stringent regulatory and operational requirements.”
