PayPal has launched a new peer-to-peer payment feature that allows users to send and receive money through personalized, shareable links that work across messaging platforms and applications.
The feature is now available to PayPal users in the United States, with plans to expand to the United Kingdom, Italy, and additional international markets later this month.
The new functionality allows users to generate unique links through the PayPal app by entering payment details and sharing the resulting link in any conversation. Each link remains active for 10 days and can be canceled or a reminder sent through the PayPal application.
