Talos extends Series B to $150 million with Robinhood, Sony, BNY investments

Talos has raised an additional $45 million in a Series B extension, bringing the round’s total to $150 million and the company’s valuation to approximately $1.5 billion post money. The provider of digital asset trading infrastructure attracted new strategic investors including Robinhood Markets and Sony Innovation Fund, alongside returning investors BNY, Fidelity Investments and a16crypto.

The extension also includes new investors IMC, QCP and Karatage. Many of the participating institutions are existing clients and partners of the platform.

Talos initially raised $105 million in its Series B round in May 2022, led by General Atlantic, which valued the company at $1.25 billion. That round included investments from BNY, Citi, Wells Fargo Strategic Capital and Fidelity Investments, among others.
