UK-headquartered BVNK announced a strategic investment by Visa Ventures. BVNK provides stablecoin payment infrastructure and wallet solutions.
According to company filings, Visa invested €2 million ($2.27m) in March. It follows a $50 million Series B funding round announced in December 2024, including net new funds of approximately $36 million, with the balance involving share sales by two founders.
Based on the price paid for stock issuances, our rough calculations indicate a current valuation for BVNK of around €625 million. Last year Stripe acquired another stablecoin infrastructure firm, Bridge, for $1.1 billion.
